Our 3 year old son uses this booster and we are pleased with its functionality sometimes the buckle is a bit hard to unfasten, but general it is effortlessly adjustable and user-friendly, particularly when compared to similarly-priced competitors.
I purchased this seat for my son who was 4 years old at the time. He is now practically 5 and a half and is nevertheless utilizing it in the five pt harness setting. He enjoys it, has never ever said something about it becoming uncomfortable and I like that it is slim and fits nicely next to his baby sister's infant seat. It is painless enough that he can buckle himself in which is nice. I also like that it has a top rated tether, as tethering is highly critical to me. Even so, I have a couple of complaints: 1) There is not substantially room between him and the buckle. Practically each and every time I put him in it, I have to make him sit all the way back against the seat as far as he can in order to buckle him in. He was annoyed by this for a little although but now he's utilised to it and can do it himself. 2) The chest clip can be troublesome to undo. I have to use both hands and even then at times I am fighting to get it undone. 3) The straps tend to twist. It is annoying since each and every time I put him in it, I'm usually untwisting the straps.
It works fine for him, primarily since soon he'll be using it as a belt-positioning booster. But I am searching for a thing diverse for my next son who needs a new seat. I did not like the Vantage that significantly.
